The year 2025 has ended. Now, the first of 365 pieces of 2026 is here. All of them contain the unknown. Some of them hold joy; others will reveal pain.
How will you maneuver successfully through such a long, hidden trail?
We need to remember that through it all, God will be faithful every step of the way. Jeremiah gives us this reminder when his world was falling apart.

SERMON TEXT
Lamentations 3:19-25 (ESV)
Remember my affliction and my wanderings,
the wormwood and the gall!
My soul continually remembers it
and is bowed down within me.
But this I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”
The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul who seeks him.
SERMON NOTES
- A desperate reality (21)
- A decision to rely (22-23)
- A declaration of reliability (25-25)
Great is Thy faithfulness!… Morning by morning, new mercies I see;
All I have needed, Thy hand hath provided,
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
No matter what our need, we can count on the Father’s faithfulness.
