God is in the restoration business. There’s no project too big, too broken, or too far-gone for Him to tackle.
He takes our broken, marred, and — as we will read in our text — “spoiled” clay, and he fashions it, forms it, and molds it into something special.

SERMON TEXT
Jeremiah 18:1-6 (ESV)
The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will let you hear my words.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.
Then the word of the Lord came to me: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.
SERMON NOTES
There are three things I want to share with you this morning:
- We are all broken
- We must be worked and reworked.
- Sin corrupts.
- Only God can restore the broken.
- He has the power over the clay.
- Clay can get hard/brittle.
- Hardened clay is not easy to work with.
- God wants to restore you.
- Make you pliable
- Create a masterpiece
The only prerequisite is that you give Him your clay, that you give Him your life.
Will you do that today? Will you let Him mold you, remake you, and reshape you?
